See you in a little while…

Demrie died Monday evening surrounded by family after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was known for her love of Jesus, green thumb, baking abilities, beautiful singing voice, love for others, kindness and her smile that lit up a room. She lived and shared her life with an overwhelming love, endless compassion and gentle guidance that impacted many. Her life and legacy will live on through the many women she discipled, through her family, and through the lives she touched by handling her diagnosis with such grace. She lived and extraordinary life, Jesus always gave her just enough grace for today…

She is survived by parents Marty and Theresa Bratt, siblings Kylie (Justin) Stern, Drayson (Caitlyn) Bratt, her “boys” nephews Dawson and Amos Stern, grandparents Rod and Louise Garvin and numerous other relatives.

Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday August 18th, 2 pm, at Snowy Range Evangelical Free Church. Reception following.

In lieu of flowers we ask for memorial donations may be made to the collegiate ministry Campus Ventures for a specific fund in honor of Demrie.  Checks can be mailed to Campus Ventures at 810 N. Main St. #299, Spearfish, SD 57783 with the memo ‘Demrie Bratt Memorial’.”  If anyone would prefer to give online, you may do so at https://campusventures.org/donate/, with “Demrie Bratt Memorial” in the designation box.

  3. Demrie was a beautiful young lady and made a big impact in many lives. She was such a loving and giving person. Heaven gained an angel and we will all miss her wise words, love and lessons. Prayers for her family.

  4. I can’t believe she is gone. Yes, heaven gained an angel (beautiful words Elizabeth). Demrie helped me with her faith and strength through such a hard trial. She will be so very missed. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss.

  5. Today in church a 12 yr old was saved because of the Lord’s work, and said he has so stunned by demries testimony. Demrie. You have challenged me in a way I never thought possible. I have been living such a selfish sinful life and turned my back on Christ. Me and you were only born a month apart same year. And you have challenged so many people in the name of Christ while I have damaged so many souls in the name of pleasure and pride. I vow today to re dedicate my life to Christ and follow your example and leave a legacy for others in the name of Christ our savior.
